I still have to backdate a through the 6th (I can't believe how far behind I am!), but I wanted to put up a couple of pics of Audrey's
first day of school.  She was a little bit shy going in, but had a great time.  In her words "We sung a good-bye song and a 'What's
Your Name?' song and I got a nametag and a sticker for being so good.  One girl, I don't know her name, held the door and my
teacher called her strong.  I made two paintings, one for taking home, but it has to dry first, but I'll know just where to put it.  There's
a girls' bathroom and a boys' bathroom, and I had to wash my hands after I painted, and there were three aprons and I got to
choose.  They have nice play-do, but I didn't play play-do.  And there trash can so I could throw my plum pit away.  I got help from
my teacher to open the water bottle. There were 13 kids in my class.  At the end of recess, the whistle blew, and we knew just what
to do."  She had a really good time, and somehow aged about 18 years in the two hours that she was at school today.  I teased
Laura, predicting she'd be a basket case, but found myself a lot more chocked up than I thought I would be.  It's just an odd feeling,
seeing your baby girl grow up...  The first couple of pictures, by the way, are just before we left (Audrey didn't want to wear her
backpack), then comes meeting her teacher for the first time, and the hook where she hangs her jacket and backpack.
